Welcome to The Ichhong Catering!

I'm originally from Cambodia. A third generation Cambodian born Chinese. There was always so complex to have a combination of cooking these two cuisines in our family.

I had the inspiration cooking from both of my grandpas, one from my father side and one from my mother side. They were chefs in the 1950s, grandpa from my father side owned a noodle bar and grandpa from my mother was a wedding function chef.

I never knew that my loved of eating would bring me into a business as catering today. I was a little girl, our family situation was hard and never had enough foods on the table to feed 4 children. You could never imagined those years gone by. At the age of 9 I was responsible for shopping and cooking for my family when mum finally started a small groceries shop. As the eldest girl in the family I wanted to help my mum after school and I was so grateful that I could help her and allowed me to learn all the life skills in our little kitchen. Mum taught me everything in the kitchen. As a young kid, I never had time to play liked others but I thanked to my amazing mother that letting me learned so much in cooking.

Cooking is part of my daily life. Friends and family love eating my foods and their appreciation is so encouraging. Thank you to all my lovely customers and supporters.
